Dr.Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s Medical college-Department of Forensic Medicine introduces first Digital (Virtual) Forensic Medicine Museum of India.

I always want to do something extraordinary for my Forensic Medicine subject. Forensic Medicine deals with application of scientific Medical knowledge in court of law for administration of justice. This subject deals with different medico legal aspects of medical sciences like different injuries, sexual offences and poisoning cases. Proper knowledge of this subject helps the medical graduates to deposit proper evidence in court of law and thus helps in administrating correct justice to victim.
Museum is an integral part of the Forensic Medicine subject. Our Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s Medical College museum is one of the best museums in the country. Forensic Medicine museum consist of information and its medico legal aspects of different poisons, weapons, bones, photographs etc. In museum medico legal charts, different medico legal wet specimens, models, X- rays are also displayed.
Now a days all aspects of life have become digital. New Competency Based Medical Curriculum (CBME) also motivates and insists for innovative teaching learning methods rather than traditional ones.
With digitalization of our Forensic Medicine museum, it is available on tip of the fingers to all stakeholders of medical science and judiciary. It helps clearing different medico legal concepts of Indian Medical Graduates (IMG), lawyers so that it is serving in depositing proper evidence in court of law for administration of correct justice.

Mrs. Shalinitai Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Ex. president Jillha Parishad, Ahmednagar and Hon. Dr. Sujay Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Member of Parliament, Ahmednagar Constituency for their constant support and encouragement.
